This song comes just two years after his last production, “Te Va Doler” ft Farruko.
Rolf Sanchez announced the release of his single by sharing a snippet of the audio a few days prior on his social media networks, having his fans try to guess the name of the song. “The Universe” has a melodious rhythm, transitioning slightly away from tropical music to urban-pop, in which the lyrics talk about a man suffering from a broken heart, enmeshed in his memories with his past significant other. The music video was produced in Miami, under the lens of Jose-Emilio Sagaró, the genius behind Karol G and Anuel’s video “Culpables”.
Since beginning his career by placing third in “Factor X Holland”, the artist has been breaking barriers by showing that his music has traveled to the farthest and most unexpected cities such as Amsterdam, Belgium, and among others. Rolf has quickly risen in the world of salsa ever since his nomination to Premios Juventud under the category of “Breakthrough Artist” and Premio Lo Nuestro for “Breakthrough Artist Of The Year”.
