Miami, FL (31 de agosto del 2018) – Después del éxito internacional alcanzado con su más reciente CD+DVD titulado #333, la cantautora mexicana PATY CANTÚ, presenta el nuevo video “CUENTA PENDIENTE”, un tema en co-autoría con uno de los más grandes de la música: Alejandro Sanz.
Esta colaboración establece un afortunado enlace entre ambos estilos vocales. El poder del sonido es innegable y la propuesta es propia. La canción fue producida por Andrés Saavedra y mezclada por otro grande de la música, Josh Gudwin, (Dua Lipa, Post Malone, Justin Bieber), que le da un sonido potente y aventurado.

“Cuenta Pendiente” es una canción que le pone poesía a la sensualidad, y un poco de sensualidad a la poesía. Pues sublima entre versos el deseo de dos personas cuyo sentimiento mutuo ha permanecido latente sin suceder aun, la realización del encuentro. Le habla a los amores de lejos, a los imposibles, a los indebidos, a los virtuales, a los insaciables.
El videoclip, dirigido por Alejandro Pérez (Enrique Iglesias), fue filmado en Miami. En él, como una parábola de la urgencia del encuentro, se ilustra el deseo como una confrontación en una cancha de futbol rápido en el que tanto Paty Cantú como Alejandro Sanz colocan a una pareja como contendiente, planteando el amor y deseo como un careo y una conquista de un algo. De forma alterna, las sombras revelan los deseos y atracción detrás de las sutilezas que hay en los juegos de seducción.
La canción también revela otras aristas que se perciben sutilmente dentro de la letra y las imágenes de video y la autora los enfatiza de esta manera: “Revela empoderamiento real, mostrando a las dos partes como IGUALES. Sin usar la sexualidad de forma vulgar en la lírica. Con finura, sugiere… pero deja mucho a la imaginación. Al igual que el video que trata estos deseos textuales y virtuales (jugando con la repetición de la frase “me gusta”), y a través del arte de Alejandro Pérez”. Además, Paty afirma: “El video se corta más como un tráiler de película thriller, que un videoclip musical. Parte nuevamente de ser una propuesta distinta”.

This collaboration establishes an incredible link between both vocal styles, creating a powerful sound and a unique expression. The track was produced by Andrés Saavedra and mixed by another great musician, Josh Gudwin, (Dua Lipa, Post Malone, Justin Bieber), which gives a powerful and adventurous sound.

“Cuenta Pendiente” is a song that adds poetry in sensuality and a bit of sensuality to poetry.
