Miami, FL (19 de julio de 2019) – Si alguien tenía duda del gran talento y éxito de MAU Y RICKY bastó con ver su apoteósica presentación ayer en Premios Juventud 2019 para darse cuenta que el dúo está marcando un antes y un después dentro de la nueva generación de artistas de la música Pop Urbana.
Presentaron durante la apertura de estos prestigiosos premios un medley de más de 5 minutos y junto a sus dos invitados especiales, SEBASTIÁN YATRA y CAMILO, interpretaron tres de sus grandes éxitos, “Ya No Tiene Novio”, “La Boca” y “Desconocidos”.
Su calidad como músicos, compositores y arreglistas quedó de manifiesto. Pudimos disfrutar versiones de sus éxitos totalmente nuevas presentando una inesperada mezcla de reggaetón y rock´n´roll que dejó a todos boquiabiertos cuando MAU interpretó un espectacular solo de batería y RICKY puso su toque con un electrificante solo de guitarra. Los arreglos para esta presentación en vivo fueron creados por DANNY FLORES y MAU Y RICKY.

Esta presentación marcó el cierre perfecto de una gran semana para MAU Y RICKY en la cual fueron nombrados “Reyes del Carnaval de Calle 8 2020”, el festival más importante de la ciudad de Miami, siguiendo los pasos de su padre RICARDO MONTANER, nombrado Rey en 1992 y uniéndose a la larga lista de artistas que han sido parte de este gran movimiento como DADDY YANKEE, PITBULL, JOSÉ LUIS RODRIGUEZ, CHAYANNE, GLORIA ESTEFAN y CELIZ CRUZ entre otros. “Es un honor ser coronados como Reyes de Carnaval de Miami … no sólo por unirnos a una gran cantidad de iconos legendarios, sino por saber que uno de ellos es nuestro padre. Siempre comparte sus buenos recuerdos de lo especial que fue ese día para él y para mi abuela, la madre de nuestra madre, que no tiene precio. ¡Felices de no sólo dar el mejor concierto, sino de involucrarnos con nuestra comunidad y hacer más!”, comentaron MAU y RICKY.
Este mismo miércoles el dúo de hermanos lanzó por todo lo alto el sorpresivo remix de su más reciente éxito “La Boca” que comparten junto CAMILO y la nueva sensación de la música urbana LUNAY.
Esta colaboración de “La Boca Remix” sucedió después de que, a través de un Instagram Live, LUNAY y MAU Y RICKY bromearan al respecto y en cuestión de días se pusieron de acuerdo para producir y grabar el tema en medio de la gira de LUNAY por Europa y de MAU Y RICKY por Latinoamérica. El remix fue producido por HAZE y JON LEONE y se espera que sea un gran éxito debido al ruido que ha despertado en todas las redes sociales.
No cabe duda que Mau y Ricky continuarán alcanzando hitos en su carrera artística a nivel internacional y estarán dando mucho que hablar en los siguientes meses.

Miami, FL (July 19, 2019) – If anyone ever had doubt of the amazing talent and success of MAU Y RICKY, yesterday’s astounding performance at Premios Juventud 2019 demonstrated how the duo is setting a difference in the new generation of Pop urban artists.
They performed during the opening of these prestigious awards a medley of more than 5 minutes alongside two special guests, SEBASTIÁN YATRA and CAMILO, interpreting three of their biggest hits, “Ya No Tiene Novio”, “La Boca” and “Desconocidos”.
Their abilities as musicians, composers, and in music arrangement was evident. The audience enjoyed new versions of their hits, performing an unexpected mix of reggeaton and rock’n’roll that left everyone in awe as they performed their spectacular solos, MAU on the drums and RICKY on the electric guitar. The musical arrangements for this live performance were created by DANNY FLORES and MAU Y RICKY.

This performance was the perfect ending to a great week for Mau y Ricky, where they were appointed “Carnival Kings of Calle 8 2020”, the most important festival of Miami, following the footsteps of their father RICARDO MONTANTER, who was named King in 1992, and joining the long list of artists that have been part of this movement such as DADDY YANKEE, PITBULL, JOSÉ LUIS RODRIGUEZ, CHAYANNE, GLORIA ESTEFAN, CELIA CRUZ, among others. “It’s an honor to be crowned Kings of Carnaval… not only for joining a host of legendary icons but for knowing one of those was our dad. He would always share his fond memories of how special that day was for him and my grandmother, out mother’s mom – truly priceless. Happy to not only give the best concert but to get involved with our community and do more!”, commented MAU Y RICKY.
That same Wednesday, the brother duo released the surprising remix of their most recent hit, “La Boca” alongside CAMILO and the new urban sensation LUNAY.
This collaboration of “La Boca Remix” happened during an Instagram Live, where LUNAY and MAU Y RICKY joked about it, and in a matter of days they were in contact to produce and record the record in the middle of LUNAY’s tour through Europe and MAU y RICKY’s tour through Latin America. The remix was produced by HAZE and JON LEONE and is expected to be a massive hit due to the buzz its been having in social media.
.Without a doubt Mau y Ricky will continue to accomplish milestones and will continue to develop their career internationally.
