Miami, FL (May 8, 2019) – One of the most outstanding and successful duos of latin music, MAU Y RICKY received two nominations to the sixth edition of the annual MTV MIAW awards. “Bromance of the Year” as best duo and “Music-Ship Del Año” for their global hit “Desconocidos” are the categories where the brothers currently compete in.
The singers of the international hits “Desconocidos”, “Ya No Tiene Novio” and “Mi Mala”, released on May 3 their new single titled “LA BOCA”, which forms part of their debut album also released last Friday titled “Para Aventuras y Curiosidades”.
During its first 5 days of release, the album garners more than 670 million streams on Spotify.
Also, “La Boca” surpasses 5 million views on YouTube, and dominated the first positions of trending topics in multiple countries: #1 in Colombia, #2 in Ecuador, #6 in Uruguay and #3 in Guatemala. “La Boca” proved to be a viral hit in Medellin, Colombia this weekend, when the artists performed the song for the first time, joined by a massive audience of more than 20 thousand people that in only 1 day knew the whole lyrics to the song. In Bogota, history repeated itself the night of May 4th in front of a mass of 14 thousand people.
“Para Aventuras y Curiosidades” counts with 12 songs. Among them, global hits , “Ya No Tiene Novio”, “Desconocidos” y “Mi Mala”.
