Miami, FL (19 de septiembre de 2019) – Armado con una barra de metal en un brazo y protegiendo con el otro a un perro cerca de un coche con una ventana rota, la estrella de Grand Hotel JEN CANELA aparece en un nuevo anuncio de PETA Latino preguntando: “¿Héroe o Villano?” y proclama, “Compórtate como un héroe y no permitas que los perros mueran de insolación en un automóvil caliente”.
En el video que acompaña el anuncio de servicio a la comunidad, Canela explica, “Por favor, nunca dejen a su perrito dentro de un carro. Yo sé que a veces estamos apurados y decimos: unos minutitos nada más, pero solo toma unos minutitos para que pase un accidente mortal.”.
PETA Latino pide a las personas que vean a un perro dentro de un vehículo durante días templados o calientes que llamen al 911 y no abandonen el lugar hasta que la situación se haya resuelto. Si las autoridades no responden o tardan en responder y el perro parece estar en peligro, que busquen a un testigo (o varios) que apoye su evaluación de la situación, la documenten, ayuden al animal a salir del coche y esperen a que lleguen las autoridades. PETA ofrece un martillo de emergencias para romper ventanas en caso de necesitarse en situaciones de vida o muerte.

Canela, quien será el protagonista de la nueva serie de Netflix, “The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia”, es parte de una larga lista de celebridades que incluyen a Clarissa Molina, CNCO, Christopher von Uckermann, Paulina Rubio, María Celeste Arrarás y Luis Gerardo Méndez entre muchos otros, quienes se han unido a PETA Latino para fomentar la compasión hacia los animales.

Miami, FL (September 19, 2019) – Grand Hotel actor, JEN CANELA appears in a new PETA Latino ad stating: “Hero or villain?” and says, “Behave like a hero and don’t let dogs die of heatstroke in a hot car”.
In the video in which Jen is featured in he reaches out by saying , “Please, do not leave your dog in a car. I know that at times we’re in a hurry and say, “Just a couple of minutes, but it only takes a few minutes for a deadly accident to happen.”
The organization PETA Latino is urging individuals who see a dog in a car during warm or hot days to take action and call 911. They are also asking to not leave the scene until the situation is resolved. If by any chance authorities do not respond or are not quick to respond and the dog appears to be in distress, then seek out a bystander to back-up the situation, and record it. Proceed by getting the dog out of the car and wait for the authorities to arrive. On the other hand, PETA offers a hammer to break windows in case of any life-threatening situations.

Jen, who is starring on “The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia”, Netflix’s new series, is just one of the many stars who have partnered with PETA Latino to nurture their compassion for animals including Clarissa Molina, CNCO, Christopher von Uckermann, Paulina Rubio, María Celeste Arrarás and Luis Gerardo Méndez.
